A number of firms put bells in their teddy bear's ears during the 1960's including Pedigree and Merrythought.
Merrythought's very famous Cheeky Bears have bells in their ears.
Teddy bears that originate from the late 1950's and 1960's certainly have an aura about them and I think they are extra special to you if you were born during that era as you probably remember your old teddy bear as a child.
Gone was the humps that teddy bears of the past had and gone was the long snout.
The Teddy Bear of this period was also much rounder in appearance and his limbs had also become much shorter.
