The Bear Facts

Misha is a teddy bear from Russian folklore. Many bears have been named after him in fact, just as many bears we know have been called Teddy after King Edward VII or the famous president Roosevelt.
Of course, he was also a mascot for the 19870 Olympic Games which just happened to be held in Moscow.
Let us not forget that he originated in the year 1941 when he was created by Marie Colmont in the Pere Castor albums.
Misha comes to life on Christmas Eve.
Later he was immortalised by Walt Disney.
