The Bear Facts
During World War 2 the Merrythought Factory in Shropshire was taken over and used for war work, but as soon as hostilities ceased, toy produced resumed and that meant of course, more Teddy Bears!
A very popular Teddy Bear that was produced by Merrythought was the Bingie Bear and also the Cheeky Bear, which never ceases to be popular with collectors the world over.
There have been some quite iconic bears produced over the last twenty years too and one of these is this wonder Teddy Bear called Isabel.
Designed by the famous John Axe, she is absolutely gorgeous and is sure to break the hearts of every Teddy Boy.
